Plain Old Dev Ops: Total Rebrand 💾
Oshkosh software development company Plain Old Dev Ops (Podo) reached out to our team in 2018 to refresh their brand. The project was extensive, including branding for Podo and five subsidiary companies, a brand new website, internal design systems, photography, videography, and a new breed of animated illustrations.

A new animation method
One of the biggest challenges of the Podo rebrand (and one of the greatest challenges of my career) was creating a short looping animation with an alpha channel (transparency) that would autoplay on the homepage. The process proved difficult due to multiple overlapping restrictions from various browsers, but by the launch date, I had developed a new method which led to a 90% browser compatibility rating for all animation features. (All features except autoplay remained functional on the remaining 10% of browsers.)
