Living Gallery: A New Creation (2019)
I designed this brochure, poster, and VIP invitation in preparation for Bob Jones University’s 2019 Living Gallery production. As part of these annual dramas, famous works of religious art—such as Caravaggio’s “The Calling of Saint Matthew” (featured painting)—come to life on stage through the work of skilled stage designers and volunteer models. The strong contrast of “A New Creation” is a reference to chiaroscuro, the interplay of light and shadow which defines so many of Caravaggio’s works.
